the in fic I'm looking for Stiles's mom would go a long trip randomly during her life. Stiles does the same thing in between season 2 and 3. the pack doesn't notice at first and doesn't care but then they realize they miss him. he eventually comes back and the pack tries to make sure he doesn't leave again.

I would really appreciate help finding a specific fic. My memories of it are very vague except for really enjoying it at the time! Here's what I remember...Stiles is a magic user and quite powerful.
